The Programme Committee is composed of renowned university professors: Detlef Altenburg (Weimar-Jena), Rossana Dalmonte (Bologna), Márta Grabócz (Strasbourg), Mihály Szegedy-Maszák (Budapest), Tibor Tallián (Budapest).

We are also counting on the participation of leading Liszt researchers as invited guests: Serge Gut (France), Malou Haine (Belgium), Klára Hamburger (Hungary), Rena Mueller (USA), Alan Walker (Canada).
The aim of the conference: to bring together musicologists and researchers in various arts disciplines, to encourage research and co-operation on the following main themes:
- Liszt’s ideas on the interaction of different branches of the arts
- Liszt’s participation in the general artistic life of his time, his connections with arts movements and individual artists
- Literary and fine arts inspirations in Liszt’s music (works, ideals, structures)
- Liszt’s person and art, as the inspiration for works of art
